YOUR TRAINING SHOULD MEAN SOMETHING. WE MAKE SURE IT DOES.
Paratus Training delivers high-risk licence and safety training in Perth and across Western Australia from our training facility in Bayswater.
View CoursesHigh-risk work doesn’t leave room for gaps in knowledge or shortcuts in training. The people doing it need to know what they’re doing — not just on assessment day, but on every shift after that.
That’s what Paratus Training is built around. We deliver high-risk licence, workplace safety, and operational training across Western Australia — face-to-face, hands-on, and led by trainers who have worked in the industries they teach. Whether you’re an employer getting your team licenced and site-ready, or a worker building toward your next qualification, our training is designed to prepare you for the work itself.
Good training doesn’t just produce certificates. It produces workers who know what to do when it matters.
From high-risk work licence training through to essential safety training and operational training, every course we deliver is nationally recognised, face-to-face, and assessed to the national standard. Select a course below to find out more.

View Course DetailsYour workers carry licences and certificates. The question is whether the training behind those documents is worth anything.
At Paratus, when someone completes a course, they’ve done the work. They’ve operated the equipment, worn the harness, worked through the scenarios, and been assessed against the national standard — not handed a certificate at the end of a slideshow.
That’s what creates safer worksites. And that’s what reduces incidents.
What we offer employers and recruiters:
Whether you’re getting your first licence to get on site, or upgrading your ticket to take on more responsibility, the training you do matters — not just on assessment day, but every day after that.
At Paratus, you’ll learn from trainers who have worked in the industry. You’ll get hands-on with the equipment, work through real scenarios, and leave knowing what you’re doing — not just holding a piece of paper that says you do.
The person next to you on site is counting on that. So is the one below you, above you, or on the end of the load.
What we offer workers:
From your first construction induction through to advanced high-risk work licences, Paratus Training delivers nationally recognised, hands-on training for workers and teams across Western Australia. Whatever stage you're at, there's a course built for the work ahead.
High-risk work licences are a legal requirement for operating certain plant and equipment in Australia. Our HRWL courses meet WorkSafe WA requirements and are delivered face-to-face, with full practical assessment on the equipment itself.
Courses include dogging, rigging, scaffolding, forklift, elevating work platforms, and a full range of crane licences — from non-slewing mobile cranes through to slewing mobile cranes over 100 tonnes.
Essential safety training for workers entering or operating across Australian worksites. These courses cover the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely in high-risk environments — and to look out for the people around you.
Courses include White Card, confined space entry, working at heights, gas testing atmospheres, asbestos supervision, and first attack firefighting equipment.
Practical, hands-on training for workers operating equipment and carrying out specialised tasks in the field. Courses are designed around real operational environments and assessed against the national standard.
Courses include four wheel drive operation and recovery, high pressure water jetting, hand and power tools, small plant and equipment, underground services identification, and heavy vehicle recovery.
A VOC confirms that a worker can safely and competently operate equipment or carry out a task to the current industry standard — whether their original training was recent or not. Many employers and sites require VOCs before allowing workers to operate plant, regardless of licence held.
Paratus conducts structured, practical VOC assessments delivered at our Bayswater facility or on-site at your workplace across WA.
For supervisors, team leaders, and operational managers looking to formalise their leadership and project management skills. Our business qualifications are nationally recognised and designed for people already working in industry who want to build on practical experience with formal credentials.
Qualifications offered include the Diploma of Leadership and Management and the Diploma of Project Management.
